Beringea, the transatlantic venture capital firm and manager of the ProVen products, has announced the promotion of Harry Thomas to Partner. Harry will retain his core focus on driving growth throughout our UK investments as Head of Portfolio, as well as contributing to the broader efforts of our investing and fundraising in the UK.

Since joining the firm in 2013, Harry has established himself as a key member of the UK investment team and a critical part of Beringea’s efforts to create value and drive growth within its portfolio companies. This work includes delivering the Beringea Resource Hub, the firm’s online toolkit for portfolio companies, and the Beringea Scale-Up Academy, an ongoing programme of events for leadership teams across the portfolio.

Harry also plays a vital role in shaping the growth of individual portfolio companies through sourcing investments, executing deals, and providing board-level support. In recent years, Harry has led Beringea’s investments in Andersen EV and MOTH, and his current board roles include WiredScore, My 1st Years, Social Value Portal, and MOTH. Harry has also managed previous exits from companies including D3O, Chargemaster, Aistemos, and Dianomi.

In his new role as Partner and Head of Portfolio, Harry will continue to focus on shaping the firm’s value creation initiatives, sourcing and executing investments, supporting portfolio companies at the board level, and contributing to the firm’s broader strategy and growth.
